Hi-Wire Brewing Co, located at 197 Hilliard Ave. in downtown Asheville, release of their seasonal Strongman Stout this Saturday with a special morning brunch event in the tasting room from 10 am – noon, making it the perfect Oktoberfest warm-up!
Brewery co-owner Adam Charnack tells us that “fans have been asking us since the first hint of crispness in the air when Strongman Coffee Milk Stout will be released. As a personal fan of both coffee and beer, Strongman is the best of both worlds! Made with certified Organic, Fair Trade coffee roasted locally at Dynamite Roasting in Black Mountain, I’m so excited for the beer’s release on October 11th.”
The release brunch starts at 10am on Saturday, October 11th, and will feature coffee mugs filled with the first pouring of Strongman Stout paired with a catered multi-course brunch. The brunch with be prepared by Chef Gary of Zambra, Admiral, and Blind Pig fame, and will feature a chocolate, bacon muffin followed by grilled bratwurst served with smoked cheddar grits, sweet potato, maple crema, cacao nibs and crispy sage.

If you miss the big brunch event, you can always snatch and clean a signature six pack of Strongman from your favorite retailer starting Monday, October 13th! Strongman Coffee Milk Stout will be available in limited quantities at select retailers, both on-draft and in 6-packs, as well as at Hi-Wire’s Downtown Asheville tasting room.
New and returning seasonal apparel will also be available beginning Monday, October 13th, namely Strongman Ts and Hi-Wire zip hoodies.
