If you’re visiting town and wanting to learn more about Asheville’s world class breweries and the latest craft beer news, you now have a new resource you can turn to. This week, copies of the Asheville Ale Trail’s brand new printed visitors guidebook called The Field Guide to Asheville Area Breweries are appearing all over in local Hotels, Visitors Centers, Pubs, Bottleshops, and local Breweries.

The Field Guide to Asheville Area Breweries is a widely distributed, free publication that focuses on the more that 20+ outstanding craft beer breweries throughout Asheville and Western North Carolina…but it doesn’t stop at great craft beer. The guide also includes compatible dining, shopping and visitor-oriented activity sections from a variety of local, independent businesses, giving travelers a guide that’s well-rounded and distinctly Asheville.

We know that visitors to Asheville certainly want to know more about the area breweries (after all, that’s why you’re here) but we know you also want to know more about the best way to experience Asheville’s craft beer culture…and our guide and website are designed to work together to provide an up-to-date lists of breweries, local beer bars &  bottle shops, as well as current tasting events, local beer festivals and new releases from brewers.

The guide also includes detailed area maps (both in the printed version and online) of all brewery locations, making it easy to see where you want to go next.
