The French Broad Brewfest, held in early Fall along the banks of the French Broad river, has long been a favorite of ours. A traditionally small fest with the chill vibe of a really big back-yard ale share, it features regional brews, a strong musical line-up and local food trucks. Taking place in a campground in Hot Springs, North Carolina, many attendee’s opt to pitch a tent and make a weekend out of it, rounding out the festival with a hike up Lovers Leap, a mountain bike ride or a river trip, and finishing with soak in a hot tub at the spa. This fest really is the embodiment of WNC beer culture.
