French Broad Falls beer and music festival

Following the heels of last years success, the 2nd annual French Broad Fall Fest is scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 2012 (this Saturday people!!) in Hot Springs, NC. Promising another outstanding day of fantastic craft brew, great music and beautiful scenery, Hot Springs is a destination for outdoor enthusiasts seeking whitewater, fishing, hiking, biking and more. Festival grounds are located on the banks of the French Broad River at the intersection of the Appalachian Trail. Festival-goers are welcome to enjoy all that the great outdoors has to offer, but while the spring festival features organized whitewater raft races, mountain bike races and other activities, the fall festival is all about the music, craft beers, and food on one glorious afternoon.

The Line Up:

14+ breweries on site; festival-goers receive a commemorative souvenir glass for sampling from noon to 10 pm on Sat. Sept 22. Brewers include:

Featuring Todd Snider, Shannon Whitworth, Lil Malcolm & The House Rockers, Big Daddy Love, Sanctum Sully, Eyes of the Elders and more! Live music from 12 noon to midnight adjacent to the brew tent. Hiking, biking, paddling, fishing, soaking in hot tubs, and spa appointments are optional!

Camping is included with private campsites, rv sites and cabins available on the festival grounds. Lodging is also available within walking distance at one of the hotels or B&B’s in town. In addition to the festivities, festival-goers can also enjoy the 100 acre resort & spa’s modern Jacuzzi style hot tubs, positioned outside along the river and supplied with a continuous flow of Natural Hot Mineral Water and a staff of massage therapists on hand to compliment your soaks.
