You’re going to be busy with all these new brews to try this week on the Asheville Ale Trail…
This Thursday at 2pm, Green Man Brewing is releasing the Demon Dweller, a barrel-aged version of the highly respected Dweller Imperial Stout. Robust and warming, the Dweller has traditionally offered hints of coffee and dark chocolate, with a complex variety of roasted malts and moderate hopping to help temper the pleasant sweetness of this brew.
This more mystical version of the Dweller has been lovingly aged in Bourbon Barrels from Makers Mark and Jack Daniels. Cunningly smooth with a sinister charm, the Demon Dweller is much like the ancient Djinnis being released from a bottle for the fist time; it will make your dreams come true…even if it’s not exactly what you wished for.
On tap at Dirty Jack’s (a.k.a. The Green Man Taproom), and available in 22 oz. bottles for $20, the Demon Dweller comes in at a very stout 10% ABV.
You have been warned…
