Green River Brew Depot

A new craft beer lovers spot opens up in Saluda! With 14 region beers on tap, and a great selection of bottled beers as well, the Green River Brew Depot is a welcome addition to the WNC craft beer scene.

Having opened earlier this month, the GRBD is the newest creation of owner Ken Smith, who is also a partner of Bryson City’s Nantahala Brewing Co. The Depot currently sports brews from some of WNC’s favorite breweries, with current offerings including beers from Nantahala, Hi-Wire Brewing, and Green Man, to name a few. They plan to rotate taps with the seasons, keeping the selection a fresh and vibrant reflection of WNC’s best locally brewed beers.

The Green River Brew Depot will be easing into the summer season with limited hours, opening Fridays 4-10 p.m., Saturdays 2-10 p.m., and Sundays from 2-6 p.m for now. Live music will be a likely addition in future weeks, and there is outdoor seating as well.
