How about a beer?

Western North Carolina has more than 20 craft beer breweries producing world class beer in our area, and 13 of those are located in Asheville alone! With so many great breweries, taprooms and brewpubs, it’s easy to see why Asheville, North Carolina won the crown of “Beer City, USA” for four years in a row, handily beating out national heavyweights like Portland, Boston and San Diego in a popular nationwide survey. To help you find the best brews our town has to offer – and experience Asheville like a local – we’ve created the Asheville Ale Trail.

Our brewery guide won’t just point you in the direction of great beer, we’re also here to help you find the best Asheville has to offer.  Asheville is full of unique local restaurants, world class attractions, and natural beauty.  We invite you to come experience our ‘Paris of the Mountains’…and toast your visit with some of the best craft beer in the world!
