Take a wine tasting tour and visit vineyards throughout the area.
A tasting tour of Western North Carolina isn’t limited to beer and cider. The climate and soil of the Blue Ridge mountains create fertile ground for the growing list of local wineries in and around Asheville. The Crest of the Blue Ridge wine region in Henderson County was recently named an AVA (American Viticultural Area), one of only four in North Carolina and the first in WNC.
